Because when it comes to your child… Everything Matters.
Founded in 1908, Pleasure Guild is an organization of 65 women committed to raising funds for Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s hospice and palliative care program. This program provides care for children for whom a cure is beyond reach. The services are typically provided in a child’s home to keep the child comfortable and provide spiritual and emotional support to the child and his/her family. Learn more about Hospice and Palliative Care.
Each year, the women of Pleasure Guild raise more than $400,000 for the hospice and palliative care program. This is achieved from the organization of and participation in several fundraisers, including such events as the Memorial Tournament, NovemBEARD, and Columbus Marathon. Pleasure Guild’s leading fundraiser is a professionally directed family play production held annually in March at the Palace Theatre in Columbus.
Pleasure Guild women are the only hospital auxiliary to have direct patient contact from their involvement in the circulation of a library cart which provides free books to patients and their families.
